Air Intake
进气口
The air inlet plenum directs the combustion air into the air intake module. It is located in the gas turbine generator enclosure immediately forward of the gas generator. The plenum is supported by the common base frame, eliminating the need for any flexible connector. It provides a stabilisation zone for the filtered combustion air delivered through the combustion air intake silencer and ducting. Air flows between the inner and outer flares, with minimal airflow distortion and swirl, and then into the low-pressure compressor.

The outer flare is also the mounting point for two rings, each with compressor water wash nozzles that direct cleaning fluid into the first stages of gas turbine compressor blade.

The ring closest to the gas turbine is used for off line washing and the ring closest to the mechanical auxiliaries compartment is used for on line washing.
